Discovered in 1949 and 1952, the two caves of Cougnac are open to the public from the beginning of April to the end of October. They are located only 3 km from Gourdon.
In these exceptional caves, you will discover a prodigious mineral vegetation, surrounding authentic prehistoric paintings. These drawings are dated to about 30,000 years ago and are among the oldest drawings!
Through a guided tour of about 1h15, discover a place full of surprises, frequented by the Cro-Magnon men during more than ten millennia. Return to the traces left by our ancestors, through this timeless visit.
